Description

The 4-Drum ABC (Aerial Bundle Cable) Trailer is supplied with diesel engine to drive the hydraulic power unit and has the capacity to carry 4 drums 1200mm in diameter with a maximum width of 900mm. If there are empty drums between the supports, drums of up to 1600mm diameter can be installed. The trailer is supplied with separate drum modules and main frame. Each of the four drum supports is an individual unit which may be detached from the trailer frame.

Each drum stand is fitted with a removable centre drum spindle and disc brake assembly which enables the operational crew to establish a line pull of up to 200kgs at 1000mm diameter.

The hydraulic power unit enables the operational crew to reel the cable in (or pay out fully controlled) via a hydraulic motor attached to all four drum-stand spindles. It is possible to drive all 4 drum stand spindles simultaneously.

All trailers and modules are fully hot dip galvanised. As a further alternative, this 4-Drum unit can be offered in skid mount form.

Parts Books & Operating Instructions

The equipment is supplied with one copy of an operation, parts and maintenance manual which includes operating instructions, safety information, major assembly drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics (if applicable), etc. Additional copies are available upon request at nominal cost.

Change in Specification

Design and improvement of products is a continuous process. We, therefore, reserve the right to make design improvements differing from this specification after receipt of an order. However, any major changes will only be made with the approval of the customer or its’ representatives.

Delivery (Manufacturing)

Delivery on these units would be approx. 12 weeks from receipt of written confirmation of order and receipt of deposit. Firm delivery dates will be confirmed on acceptance of order.
